Temperature decides the sex
0
Do you Know some Reptiles determine their sex by the temperature experienced during the embryonic developmental stages.
Example
In some of the Crocodiles
Eggs which are hotter turn to males and conversely the colder one into Females.
This is called "Temperature dependent Sex Determination". A recent study published in June 2013 article of "Nature" suggests that baby turtles has the ability to move inside their embryos to warm or cool themselves by moving within the egg. So this consequently determines the sex of the Turtle.
But due to Global warming the temperature of Croco eggs are increased and as a consequence the male population has increased... If this Continues to happen that particular species is likely to extinct. Not only that almost all reptiles which determine their sex by Temperature is Likely to extinct because of Global Warming.
